REED RICKERT

Co-founder of PUTRABUMI, Reed Rickert has been a Producer, Director, DOP (Director Of Photography), and Cameraman for documentary projects and commercial projects in more than 6 countries since 2003.

Reed graduated from California College of the Arts, San Francisco, in 2005 with a degree in Film/ Video, after a two-year study in cultural Anthropology at the University of Maryland.

He is currently Co-Producing and Directing a feature length documentary, The Third Root - Morocco (www.thethirdrootmovie.com), an investigation of the African and Arabic roots in Mexican Music, gathered through research and interviews in Mexico, Spain and Morocco.
